Hi!
I'm Casandra: wife, momma and owner of Holen Photography. Between photographing weddings, families and babies, you can find me with family, or in front of my computer doing some editing, playing with my kids (Joanna, Stevie and Archie), drinking butt-loads of coffee and either rocking out to my latest Spotify playlist or listening to a true crime podcast. Most people know me as an extroverted introvert, loving craft beer, photographing life's little and big moments, and making people laugh. I love being surrounded by love, and finding that gorgeous natural light that makes my pictures come to life. It's nice to meet you!
Meet Carli! She is my associate photographer and sister- in law! She is my second shooter for weddings and is also taking on maternity sessions, couples, extended families and seniors! Here is a bit about her, in her own words:
Hi! I’m Carli, Sandra’s sister-in-law and fellow photography enthusiast! My home base is in Tichigan, WI (where you’ll find my sweet husband Hunter, our daughter Mila, our rescue pup, Bear & most of the Holen clan!) I’ve found a love for capturing photos since as long as I can remember when I first picked up a camera and this hobby with my dad, Daryl (you may have met him as your second shooter! ) As this love grew and Holen Photography developed, I’ve found myself shadowing Sandra every chance I could in hopes to perfect that “moody look” I’ve always dreamed of capturing (also, I just really like hanging out with Sandra). Aside from perfecting my passion for photography, you will find me enjoying ALL THINGS WISCONSIN. My happy place is at our family cabin Up North in Hatfield where I look to escape any chance I get. I enjoy copious amounts of coffee, hiking, road trips, and music (which often most tell me I play too loud). I’m a sucker for the little things in life like a crackling fireplace, quality time spent with my favorite people, and a pint of Guinness (If you haven’t traveled to Ireland, do it). I am a romantic sucker for that perfect lighting, so let’s find it together. Nice to meet you!
Holen Photography specializes in portraits of newborns, babies and kids, family portraits, wedding photography, high school senior portraits, and maternity portraits in the Greater Milwaukee and Madison Area. We are available for portrait sessions in locations in and around Milwaukee and the suburbs that suround, including South Milwaukee, New Berlin, Hales Coners, Muskego, Waterford, Burlington, Kenosha, Rachine, Lake Geneva, Madison, Port Washington, Franklin, Sheboygan, Wauwatosa, Greenfield, Greendale, Brookfield, Oak Creek, Waukesha, West Allis and West Milwaukee. Holen Photography is also available for destination weddings.
