Engagement Session Guide
Yay! It's time for your engagement session! This session will allow us to get to know each other and will give be kind of like a "dress rehearsal" for your wedding day!
My goal is to make this a fun, relaxing experience so you can focus on your relationship and take your minds off the camera.
The following tips will allow you to have the best possible session.
What do I wear?
The big takeaways:
- Coordinate, don't match
- Choose 2-3 neutrals with a pop of color
- Layers and textures photograph well
- Don't be afraid to accessorize
- I suggest 2 different looks

Make it your own
Your photos should be as unique as you are. I encourage you to add any element of "you" that you'd like! Bring your dog. Go back to a place that is special to your relationship.
Get in close
I want you to feel the love when you look back at these photos years down the road.
Get in close. Cozy up, Snuggle. If your fiance has never seen my style of photos before, explain to them why you love it so they can get a better understanding of the way I do things!
It's all about the connection between the both of you.
Let me guide you
Let go of any preconceived notions you have of being in front of the camera. Know that I'll be guiding you every step of the way in order to bring out your personalities.
Some final words of wisdom...
*Give yourself plenty of time to get ready. Rushing to the session will most likely result in a rushed feeling during the session!
*Don't come hungry! This could make for some cranky adults...or if you're going out for a dinner/date night after, have a light snack beforehand!
*Last but not least...let's have a good time!
