This has always been a debate in the wedding industry. First look, or no first look? Here are a few perks to each to help you make your decision!

First look:

You can get your jitters out! Most couples feel a weight lifted off of them after seeing their partner for the first time

You share a private moment before the ceremony/

A lot of the times this allows for more time for wedding party photos, leaving you with less chance to be rushed

No first look:

Upholds the tradition of not seeing the bride before the ceremony

There is more anticipation before the big reveal down the aisle

There are other ways to connect with your partner (i .e. talking to each other on opposite sides of the door, holding hands, exchanging letters without seeing each other)

There is no wrong choice when it comes to doing a first look or not; it's uniquely you and your partner. Whatever you choose is part of what is going to make your day memorable.
